Slate Yard, Salford Central

Adjacent new build eleven and sixteen storey residential buildings with ground floor level car parking housing a total of 240 apartments. The building structures were formed utilising in situ reinforced concrete frames with post tensioned floor plates, stabilised with in situ reinforced concrete lift / stair core walls. Detailed temporary works design was undertaken in order to avoid any surcharge of the existing adjacent River Irwell retaining wall during the construction phase.
