New build development on an extremely ‘tight’ site comprising a basement car park, ground floor retail space and two wings of ten and four storeys housing a total of 77 apartments. An economic CFA contiguous pile wall solution was devised to form the basement with the building structure formed utilising an in situ reinforced concrete frame with post tensioned floor plates, stabilised with in situ reinforced concrete lift / stair core walls.
