A 3.2 hectare site involving the construction of a new industrial unit and associated external yard areas. The project involved the use of lime modification and stabilisation techniques on the natural site clays in order to strengthen existing weak soils. Underground drainage design included the specification of online attenuation tanks to provide the most economical solution due to significantly restricted site surface water flow rates.
