Client: Giggleswick School
Architect: Squires and Brown
Contractor: Barnfield Construction
Value: £5 million
Series of new build and refurbishment projects including construction of a new dining hall. The school lies in a Conservation Area, hence the external and internal building forms were architecturally sensitive. The stonework clad superstructure was formed with an internally exposed structural steelwork frame and a series of exposed oak roof trusses with an aesthetic connection detail to the supporting circular hollow section steelwork columns.
